Jennifer Hayes - Advanced Rolfing

Rolfing Structural Integration® is a hands-on form of bodywork that manually addresses the body’s fascial layers to realign the body. Dr. Rolf recognized that the body is a pliable medium and that from infancy to old age the human system is malleable and changeable. What permits this plasticity is the body’s fascia, known as “the organ of shape”.

Rolfing Structural Integration® is typically performed in a progression of 10 sessions. The first three sessions focus on the superficial tissues, the next four focus on the deeper tissues and the final sessions address the whole body. Rolfing movement education is included in the sessions so a client has custom movement cues to maintain their shifts for a lasting change.
